Lloret beach
The Lloret beach is the main one and the most central: nearly 1.5 km of golden sand right in the heart of the town, with a Blue Flag, seafront promenade, beach bars and hire of sunloungers, pedalos and kayaks. It's the liveliest and best connected, perfect if you're staying in the centre and want to walk down to the beach. In high season it fills up early, so get up a little earlier.
Fenals beach
A short walk from Lloret, separated by a small pine-covered hill, Fenals is a little more sheltered and quieter. Its sand is paler and the atmosphere more family-friendly. It has all the services (beach bars, sunloungers, water sports) and tends to be somewhat less crowded than the central beach. Ideal for a relaxed day with children.
Cala Boadella
Cala Boadella is one of the prettiest coves in the area: turquoise waters, surrounded by pines and next to the Santa Clotilde Gardens. It has a small naturist area and is perfect for snorkelling. You can get there by car (paid parking in summer) or on foot along the Camí de Ronda from Fenals. A must for lovers of hidden coves.
Sa Caleta
Small and full of charm, Sa Caleta sits next to the iconic Castell d'en Plaja, at the northern end of Lloret beach. Its calm, shallow waters make it ideal for families, and the setting —with the castle in the background— is among the most photographed on the Costa Brava.
Santa Cristina beach and Cala Treumal
A few kilometres away, Santa Cristina and the adjoining Cala Treumal form one of the loveliest corners of the area: fine sand, pines almost down to the water and a protected natural setting around the Santa Cristina chapel. Quieter and greener, perfect for escaping the bustle of the centre.
Cala Banys and the Camí de Ronda
Although Cala Banys is more rock than sand, its viewpoint and its beach bar above the sea make it one of the best spots to watch the sunset. The Camí de Ronda links many of these beaches and coves along the cliffs: short, very scenic stretches to discover the wildest coast on foot.
